Eternity Fine Jewelry Review

Here, we do things differently than other local jewelers. We manufacture, wholesale and market most of the line in-house.  As a result, we have a competitive advantage over other jewelers because our prices tend to be a result of lower overhead and higher volume.  We are able to pass these savings along to our clients.  We also innovate designs, not merely to be different, but to create jewelry that is truly stunning and functional.  Every item is handcrafted, using methods long abandoned by commercial manufacturers. We take pride in our skills, workmanship and ability to work at an efficient pace.  Most special orders are completed in less than 2 weeks time.  Because we use only the better grades of diamonds and gems, we are confident that our jewelry will pass the most exacting gemological examination. Our customers always get the highest quality at the lowest possible prices.

I have known Eternity Fine Jewelry for over 14 years.  They certainly are one of the first fine jewelers in downtown/Chinatown Jewelry district in New York.  Qualities, styles, selections, knowledgeable staff and great services........you name it and they have it, all at reasonable prices!  I once just dropped off my 1.5 carets diamond ring for service and it was delivered back to me in excellent condition, in my office within a few hours.  This is how good their service can be and how much I can trust them.

Kiky Jewelers Review

Awesome stuff, staff, and service.  I knew almost nothing about diamonds before coming in, and now I can run my own jewelry store.  I'm a fan of hyperbole.  But still, Kiky (the owner) knows what he's talking about when it comes to diamonds and really takes the time to explain everything without making you feel like a dumbot.  I didn't feel like I was getting the rug pulled from under me at any time.  This feeling may have been drastically different had I visited Diamond District/Jewelers' Row on 47th St.

The store is beautifully laid out with much to look at.  There's a great selection of different settings, rocks, and other jewelry pieces.  If there's something that you don't see, it was made clear to me that they can do custom pieces too and make sure you're satisfied with whatever it is you're looking for.  Basically, I got the impression that they're willing to work with you to make your needs (her wants) are met.

I'd definitely come back here again for future jewelry purchases/adjustments/etc.  There's also ample parking nearby and tons of retail/restaurants as well.  It's in a good part of town where you can get a lot of errands done at once.  Not to mention, who can hate on the name Kiky?  Freaking rocks.

Lori McLean Review

Lori McLean is a charming, cozy little shop full of unique, handcrafted earrings, rings, and necklaces.  And by unique and handcrafted, I mean exquisite and divine, not a kitschy homemade item you pick up at a craft sale. The pieces are trendy and beautiful, but not in a mass produced David Yurman kind of way. And they don't try to compete. Less bling, smaller scale, very delicate. Just classic, timeless, every day pieces, and flawless craftsmanship.

My friend and I sounded like the 4th of July ooohing and ahhhing over every new treat our eyes spotted. Lots of fun stacking toys at this playground, except instead of brightly colored plastic blocks, you get to stack tawny marigold, chocolate, and cognac diamonds. The salesgirls were darling and indulgent, admiring our favorites as we spent several minutes trying on ring after ring. While most of the pieces will set you back more than the cost of brunch and a cute hat, an occasional sale or two will let you walk out with a teeeeny tiny diamond for less than $100.

Just keep in mind that as many of the stones and jewels are literally one of a kind, you must be prepared to nurse a broken heart if you leave your favorite piece behind, only to find it forever gone and that another one just like it simply does not exist in the world.

Tendenza Review

I first stumbled upon Tendenza when walking around with visiting friends and I have made many trips back to the store since. The owners, Zichrini and Oren make you feel so welcome, as does the fact that everything in the store is one of a kind and customizable.

The very first time we stepped inside, I fell in love with the leather wrap bracelets. They have many in the shop, but they also will do custom engraving on any of the available colors of gold (rose, green oxidized, yellow, white...) and are happy to mix and match the leather strap with your favorite plate shape. I bought one immediately and still wear it, refusing to get the leather replaced (for free) quite yet.

My friend K was immediately drawn to the engrave-able pendants and quickly created a necklace as we all stood around playing with different combinations of colors, chains, and charms. I have since been back to pick up a few rings and the last time I was there over the summer, I decided that I absolutely can't live without the shark tooth pendant that they had just created. Z and Oren are amazing and their care and devotion to creating beautiful and unique jewelry is evident in every piece. Make sure to start a conversation with them if you go.

Decatur City Jewelers Review

I love this beautiful little jewelery store in Decatur. Brett is the owner, he is always there and ready to chat and help you with whatever you need.  He is the man to go to for unique pieces, custom finds, great gifts or priceless family heirlooms that need a modern re-do. He won't let you down. My fiance can go to Brett to find a gift for me and Brett will remember what I was looking at the last time I was in. He's good like that. In the winter Brett cranks up the fireplace and you can literally sit on the couch in the middle of the room in front of the fire while chatting about Jewelry. Don't go to anyone else.

Jewelry Artisans Review

For one-of-a-kind jewelry designs and individual attention, you have to try Jewelry Artisans. I have been a satisfied customer of Jewelry Artisans for over 10 years. Each time I have done business with them, both at the old location on Roswell Road and the new location near Perimeter Mall, I have been thrilled with the results. Jamie has designed several pieces for me using loose stones I already had, and re-strung a pearl bracelet I got as a gift elsewhere. He made a ring I designed from a paper-clip and turned it into a 14 karat piece of art. When we couldn't find anyone local to sell us the pins we needed to add links to a Rado watch, Jamie gave us a pice of copper, free of charge, which worked beautifully.
